There is enough affirmation for us all. I am grateful that in the last few years, God has made me less jealous and envious and more grateful and appreciative for those people who are so gifted in ways I’d like to be, and for people who seem to surpass me in ways that I’m gifted. I’m grateful for God’s diversity, for his lavish generosity to creatures such as us. What bountiful love bestowed such wonders on fallen man! If we could just believe that, we could be content while others displayed God’s glory.
