I remember hearing a pastor of a small church say he doesn’t attend church conferences any more as they are all geared, ultimately, toward the large church, and what works for large churches just doesn’t work in small ones. I wonder what we could learn about helping our neighbors in a more healthy way if we listened to how small churches did things.
