And how can we bring what we do everyday—no matter how humble—into the story of creation and redemption that God is writing so we can join him in healing this broken world?
He Saw That It Was Good p. 25
What is amazing in this question is the presupposition: God wants us to be part of the story. And not just a bit part; we have a role to play in his healing of this broken world. We have a purpose—whatever our gifts, whatever our past, whatever our sins. The story has pages for us to inhabit, pages for us to write. So will the voice we add to those pages be a discordant tone or will others hear the accent of the Maker in those pages?
