We can make a list of the least likely or most likely to come to faith, and that list is irrelevant, for there is nothing visible or discerned that can dictate God’s working in the heart of man. So the one you demean, belittle, vilify—could he or she be used by God in his kingdom? Yes. So stop demeaning, belittling, and vilifying image bearers. “For the Lord’s bondservant must not be quarrelsome, but be kind to all, able to teach, patience when wronged, with gentleness correcting those who are in opposition if perhaps God may grant them repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth” 2 Timothy 2:24–25.
