When we bow to Caesar do we care about the next generation who will have to bow as well. When we seek justice, do we care about anything beyond our own comfort? And seek justice we must, but are we thinking in terms of biblical justice, justice that has its foundation in truth, that puts in place laws and regulations that will benefit all from the greatest to the least—for we are not to show partiality to either the rich or the poor (Exodus 23:3; Deuteronomy 1:17; James 2:1–9).
