Maturity widens our horizons. Maturity—not age. Age can shrink our affections, narrow our gaze, limit our encounters. But if age is mixed with wisdom, the mature person’s life may encompass a greater scope of friends and a deeper appreciation for the Imago Dei. That doesn’t mean there still won’t be Pyes in the world.
