All things great are wound up in all things little.

On the surface this refers to the greatness of Canada’s political machinations compared to the travails a baby with croup. Yet the intended irony of the statement is that the greatness was a life saved and a friendship restored compared to the little that was one political speech in a small province. How we assign value says a lot of our hearts.
